think the masterreset for hl2dm would be done @ 7th November @ evening.

Whatever you say :)

In my opinion we should leave the perl backend in one process as it runs now. this doesn't stress the mysql server so much with concurrent queries.


But explain - What's so special on November 7th?

It is most fair to do a complete reset @ hl2dm when all servers/clans are added.

of course we should wait until all servers are added to the stats.
and i think the cs:s part should be reseted together with the hl2dm
part of the stats. so we can spam massivly advertising for the new
servers, fresh moved and reseted stats, and why not the newest
version of the elstats.

i think friday the 7th is a good day. it is the beginning of the weekend
so nearly everybody got time to start fragging to the top. i think we
and all stats partners should post a big news on friday the 7th at 12
o'clock lunchtime that the big opening will be in the evening at 18 or
20 o'clock. wouldn't it be great and nice to see if we provoke a rush
for the servers and many players would stretch out their hands
towards the top of the stats this night and over the whole weekend?
wouldn't this be good advertising for all included clans and servers?
maybe we can also link that event with the release of the newest
elstatsneo version. or maybe we could affect some other friendly
clans or related communitys and webpages to post some news about
that. why not try to make a big happening out of this?

Can anyone check the bug with configuration for some B§ servers before resetting the stats?

The bug: players disappear from the server player list after a minute or so. Thus if server has some players, often no player is shown in the server list.

Would be nice. Thanks.

The bug is not a bug - its a problem with system clock differences between the stats machine and the gameserver machine.

When activating your servers on the new stats setup, this should not happen again (i've configured the stats to use the timestamp provided by the gameserver only - so there could be no differences.)
